Atlanta stunned Houston on the road at the Fort Bend County Epicenter, snapping Houston's six-match winning streak and extending its own run to three straight. Atlanta was dominant across the board — 55 kills to Houston's 40, a staggering 13 blocks to just three for Houston, and 78 digs to 39. After dropping a tight first set 29-27, Houston leveled the match in the second, but Atlanta took control from there and never let go. The win moves Atlanta to 4-5 on the season and drops Houston to 6-4 heading into Saturday's showdown at Salt Lake.

Atlanta Vibe 3, Columbus Fury 1
The Vibe took care of business at Gas South Arena, winning in four sets to improve their record at home. Columbus (2-8) continues to struggle on the road, dropping to the bottom of the MLV standings.
Indy Ignite 3, Dallas Pulse 1
Indy (9-2) completed the season sweep of Dallas with a four-set road win at Comerica Center. The Ignite dropped the second set but controlled the match otherwise, with multiple hitters reaching double-figure kills. Indy's balanced attack and disciplined net play were the difference as they tightened their grip on first place in MLV.

Weekend Watch
Saturday is a two-screen kind of day. LOVB Houston at Salt Lake (6:00 PM MT, Victory+) was already the match of the week — and now Houston arrives stinging from its first loss in over a month. Salt Lake (8-1) has been nearly untouchable at home, but a wounded Houston team with Jordan Thompson leading the charge is a dangerous draw. Earlier in the day, Indy visits Atlanta on ION (4:00 PM MT) in a matchup between the top MLV team and a Vibe squad riding high after last night's win.
