Around the Leagues
MLV: The Indy Ignite (8-2) remain in first place after sweeping San Diego on Sunday. Orlando pulled off the upset of the weekend, going into Omaha and sweeping the defending champion Supernovas 3-0. That was a notable result given Orlando played without MVP Brittany Abercrombie, setter Chompoo Geudpard, and OH Charitie Luper just two days earlier in a loss at Indy. Omaha recently acquired libero Elena Oglivie from Grand Rapids in a trade — Oglivie leads the MLV in digs per set.
